Bourassa Vineyards (Permanently Closed)

Bourassa Vineyards is a small but highly acclaimed producer of fine wine, releasing its first bottle commercially in 2001. The winery mainly focuses on Cabernet and Bordeaux style blends. The wines have won numerous awards, starting with Bourassa Vineyards’ first label, Harmony3, a traditional Bordeaux blend.

The owner and vintner, Vic Bourassa, was an avid home wine-maker until one fateful lunch with the godfather of all California wine, Robert Mondavi, who encouraged Bourassa to make a profession out his love of wine-making. Bourassa Vineyards was thus born.

Now, Vic Bourassa and his family run their beautiful tasting room in Napa. Barrels line the walls around comfortable rustic candle-lit tables, offering wine lovers to relax and enjoy Bourassa Vineyards’ fine wine, all the while learning from Vic himself about the wine-making process. Tastings are available by appointment only but well worth it, because more often than not the owner conducts the tastings himself, happy to share his love of wine with others.

The tasting room is spacious, offering private event accommodations if scheduled in advance. The vineyard itself is available for weddings and the tasting room for wedding rehearsal dinners, providing lovely romantic ambiance for such a special event.
