A Taste of Redwood Valley, the festival that put a bucolic Mendocino County enclave on the map over 20 years ago, will once again open its bottles and barrels to wine lovers this Father’s Day weekend.
The festivities will begin on Friday evening with the legendary Winemaker’s Dinner and will continue throughout the weekend with delicious food, barrel-tasting, live music, fine art, and artisanal crafts.
Friday evening’s poolside dinner will begin at 6 p.m. with wine-tasting and gourmet hors d’oeuvres. Dinner will follow at 7 with a spring green salad, chicken piccata, vegetarian lasagna, and fresh herb-infused seasonal vegetables. Brandy, port, and muscat canelli will be served with dessert and live music will sweeten the summer evening air.
