The Santa Barbara Celebration of Harvest 2017 runs from Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1st. This year the event is comprised of a few different events all under the umbrella of the Celebration of Harvest.
Taste of Santa Barbara Wine Country
The first event is the Taste of Santa Barbara Wine Country. This is the signature event of the weekend. Anyone who has attended the event in the past will be familiar the Taste, but this year is a bit different. In prior years, the Taste was a large event held over multiple days. The event started in the early afternoon and ran until the late afternoon. Although the event was always great, the last few years were brutally hot. The organizer made a wise decision to make this event more enjoyable. This year the event is smaller and it is at night.
This year the event will be held at the Fess Parker resort in downtown Santa Barbara. The change in time (should be cooler at night) and venue (right across from the beach) should make it much more pleasurable when you are strolling, with wine in hand, to grab your next bite of food.
There are 50 Santa Barbara wineries featured at the event. Some of our favorite wineries like Presqu'ile, Pali Wine, Jaffurs and Foxen will be pouring there. Food will be offered by some of the top local chefs.
If you love Santa Barbara County wine, you couldn't ask for a better event!

Friday, September 29th, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. (6:00 if you want to pay a little more to avoid the crowds).
Harvest Experience Passport
Get closer to the wineries you love with the Harvest Experience Passport. There are 50 wineries participating and the pass gives you access to free tastings at 12 of them. Along with a complimentary tasting, the wineries will give you a behind the scenes access to their harvest activities. This is a fun way to sample their wine while seeing some of the magic happen first hand!
You can purchase a Passport here. After you purchase, you will select a winery where you can pickup up your Passport. The pass is good for three days, so you can space out your tastings. This is a unique opportunity and only comes up during the Santa Barbara Celebration of Harvest.
Additional Santa Barbara Celebration of Harvest Events
