Tasting on Main (closed)

Tasting on Main is a collective tasting room in downtown St. Helena that provides the opportunity to experience wines from wineries that are difficult to find.
At Tasting on Main, the winery owners have banded together to present what would normally be considered competing wines in a way that highlights each winemaker’s skill, the importance of vineyard terroir and individual wine-blending approaches.

Up to eleven wineries showcase their wares here; the current roster includes Broman Cellars, Candela, Ehlers Grove, Kelham Vineyards, Miura Winery, Oakville Ranch, Richard Partridge, Reynolds Family, Robert Keenan and Thirteen. All of these producers make extremely small-production, high-end wines.

There is an old wine press on the front sidewalk to mark the tasting room’s location. Inside there is an attractive tasting counter, along with wine accessories and glassware for sale. There are a couple of comfortable leather chairs and an attentive staff to guide you through your tasting.
