The Stags Leap District begins seven miles north of the town of Napa, on the Silverado Trail. Its northern boundary is drawn by the Yountville Cross Road with the towering Stags Leap palisades to the east. This is where Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the vineyard landscape making up 80% of the areas 1300 acres of vines.
