The driest month is June yet gets the least sun, as “June Gloom” descends, a blanket of marine fog that hovers over the coast, sometimes lingering into July.
Best all-around wine tasting weather occurs in April, and again July through October. July and August are the hottest months but it is usually cool in the evening especially near the ocean.
