Why visit Jamie Slone Wines?

Jamie Slone Wines is located at the entrance of the Historic El Paseo in the Presidio Neighborhood. The Presidio neighborhood has become an important wine tasting destination in the city of Santa Barbara. The number and quality of wineries you can visit here is beginning to equal the more famous Funk Zone. On top of that, the setting is beautiful and there is plenty of great dining nearby.

Jamie Sloan Wines’ urban tasting room is dedicated to providing guests with a Riviera vibe and excellent limited production wines. The tasting room is cozy and elegant. Dark wood beams in white stucco create a beautiful background for the black chandeliers. Royal blue chairs make for a relaxing place to sip their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Pair them with chocolate from the local chocolatiers or cheese from Slate Catering. Make sure you taste the “Super Tuscan” if they are pouring it. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes. The friendly staff will even welcome your dog into their tasting room!

If you have more than 6 guests, they would like you to call ahead, and you can reserve a private tasting if you want. Whatever you do, make sure that you schedule in 45 minutes for your tasting.

If you want a more immersive experience, Jamie Slone Wines offers a tour through one of the breathtaking vineyards that they source their grapes from and hold a barrel tasting. The vineyards are in the Santa Ynez Valley.
