Why Visit Allegretto Wines for wine tasting?

The Allegretto Vineyard Resort is a beautiful adobe building in the style of a California mission. It hugs verdant Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard which Douglas Ayres, the owner of the vineyard and the resort, is inordinately proud of. To add to the pastoral feel of the place, Ayres owns another 8 acres of pasture land right by the vineyard and resort. The resort even looks over the winery where he makes his Cabernets, Tannats and Malbecs.

And you can see the winery as you taste his wines. Just off the lobby of the resort is a luxurious room where you can sip your flight of wines while looking down on a stone-sculpture and fountain- studded courtyard. Olive trees and beautiful outdoor fireplaces surround this courtyard, and the whole look is completed by a five-foot polished stone from India. It compliments perfectly the glass of gold-medal winning wine that they offer after each flight.
