Why should you visit Highwayman Wines for wine tasting?
There’s is an exciting player in Sonoma wines you make not know about yet. Highwayman Wines opened a tasting parlor and wine bar in 2018 in order to serve their boldly beautiful Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wine. These wines are highly thought of by locals. They are a great expression of the terroir of Sonoma, Napa and the Sierras, all places along Highway 12.
The highway is where they get the winery name, which is fitting because they emphasize the vineyards that produce the grapes in their winemaking above all else. Their appreciation for the terroir of the place has inspired their truly Californian wines.
Their new tasting room, however, draws its decorating inspiration and feel from the Old West. This is a place full of saloon chic- red velvet couches, cow skulls on the wall, strings of light over the bar, and photos of gun-slinging women dominate this fun little room.
If you would prefer to have a little chat with your friends at their conversation settings while sipping your wine, they have leather couches set up around little coffee tables for you. Their bar has a glass cover to exhibit an artistic array of papers.
There are even boards of charcuterie, cheese, and other snacks to have with your wine. Nestled in the industrial section of Sonoma with other metal buildings and polished concrete floor, it is a fine blend of modern and old-time fun.
Highwayman Wines focuses on the fun of fine California wines. Any wine enthusiast visiting Sonoma should check them out for the experience.
