Why visit Keller Estate for wine tasting?

The Petaluma Gap holds the inspirational Keller Estate. The owners fell in love with the property, and they want everyone to share this love, not only through their wines, but through the grounds. This beautiful winery was designed by Legorreta + Legorreta to use the gravity flow technique, and the Kellers have taken care to plant the vines that are best suited to the site. To make it even more enticing, the grounds are filled with works from local and international artists. There are even original works from Marc Chagal on the walls.

Of course, this art continues in the tasting room as well. A cobblestone terrace overlooks the grove of trees and statues. You can enjoy the view from a wooden picnic table while you participate in their Estate Tasting, an hour-long seated affair. If the weather is inclement, you might take your seat in the art-filled and elegant tasting room. If you would like to see the art that was around the vineyards, you might sign up for the tour and tasting, which includes a flight of 6 estate wines, a tour of the facilities, and their limestone wine cave. Club members can also participate in an exclusive wine pairing. These programs require a reservation and you should give them ample notice, but it is worth the effort.
