Our List Of The Most Expensive Liquors You Can Buy Online
Patrón en Lalique: Serie 2 Tequila
The next option on our list of the most expensive liquors available online is aged 8 years in American oak, French oak, and sherry barrels. This sublime sipping tequila pours a clear bright gold.
Made by hand at the Jalisco Hacienda Patrón distillery, jimadors pull the distinctive 100% Weber Blue Agave when the sugar content is perfect. The distillery then chops and bakes the agave with a tahona stone wheel weighing in at two tons, finely crushing with a roller mill.
The tequila is fermented in small-batch copper stills. The aged blend yields a familiar aroma of fruit laced with vanilla. A light agave on the tongue, paired with a taste of sweet honey turns to a long-lasting oak finish with notes of agave and fruit. Just 299 lucky connoisseurs will enjoy these bottles, built by the lovely hand of Lalique in handmade crystal from France. This is a truly lux liquor experience.

Hardy Perfection Lumière Cognac Grande Champagne
Next, we feature a cognac on our review of the most expensive liquors you can buy online. Hardy produced just 300 bottles of this revered spirt from France. Gordon & Macphail Generations Mortlach 75 Years Scotch Whiskey
Gordon & Macphail’s Generations range is a collection of the oldest, most mature whiskey ever bottled from Scotland’s renowned distillers established in the 1890s. All of the Generations releases have come to maturity under four generations of the careful ownership and direction of the Urquhart family. Three first releases came from the Motlach Distillery as well as Glenlivet of Speyside, all as single casks.
The most recent release, and the fourth outstanding bottle of the Generations range, is a remarkable single cask Speyside Mortlach Distillery sip aged for 75 years. In a Royal Opera House launch in London, the beauty of the rich amber color of the 100 bottles was presented for sale globally in graceful teardrop bottles. While the palate is composed of dried apricots and pomegranate, the mid-palate of spice and vanilla finishes grandly with a lingering smokiness. It is, rightly so, one of the world’s most exclusive whiskeys.

The Dalmore 62 Scotch Whiskey
Quite rare, with only 12 bottles produced and first release in 2012 after 62 years in the cask, It is debatable whether The Dalmore 62 is for drinking or for investing, as it is expected to increase soundly in value. The four Dalmore casks, respectively filled in 1868, 1876, 1926, and 1939, were poured into bottles that are each individually named for a distinct historic moment in the distillery’s history. Occasionally bottles come up for auction reaching astronomical bids well into six figures. As one might expect, the platinum stag’s head on the bottle and extraordinarily beautiful wood and glass case make an exceptional impression.

The Last Drop 1961 Dumbarton Single Grain Scotch Whiskey
Usually called into play as an accompaniment rather than a solo, Scottish Grain whiskeys are underrated and understated. The experts at The Last Drop hunted down a rare Single Grain from the Dumbarton distillery, closed in 2002 due to difficulties in modernizing the site with its tall still columns piercing concrete floors. The Last Drop insiders note that the angels had taken more than their due, leaving enough for just 32 bottles, creating a rare, exclusive piece of Scottish history.
This small release offers sweet poached pear and vanilla sugar on the nose, complemented by a lavish chocolate palate mixed with cocoa, molasses, and pecan. Both firm and soft at once, it is a dance that delivers a delicious neat sip. Presented in a signature chocolate-brown leather case and Last Drop Distillers Tartan bag, it is a handsome, unassuming treasure.

The John Walker Founder’s Blend Scotch Whiskey
The Baccarat crystal decanter and lacquered cabinet presentation box hint at the luxury to follow. John Walker Founder’s Blend is produced in 330-bottle batches, making it a rare sip indeed. The nine whiskeys that hark from distilleries in operation while John Walker was still alive make it even rarer still, with two of the distilleries having since closed their doors.
Tucked in for a rest in 100-year-old oak barrels, the blend first displays a big, rich serving of sweet vanilla oak on the palate, followed by a lively full-bodied aroma of tangerine and apricot and a smoky finale punctuated by honied warmth. Best neat, so you can admire the gold-plated neck ring and contemplate the engraved batch and bottle number. This is one of the most expensive liquors you can order online right now.
