Failla Wines

Ehren Jordan and Anne-Marie Failla of Failla Wines are a husband and wife team with a great passion for wine. Their estate vineyard in Cazadero always bustles with their energy. It’s here that they focus on experimenting with their favorite varietals. They can change up the climate, soil type, and rootstock, all in the name of making the best wines they can. Of course, this is the rugged and oak-shaded land of St.Helena, so they are working always in sight of the fog-shrouded mountains. This certainly feeds their passion some, too.

Fallia Wines has a number of ways to share their passion with you. Visitors can come to their 1930’s era farmhouse, which they refer to as the Tasting Lodge, and have a seated tasting. You can sit on the overstuffed sofas and chairs and lounge with up to 8 people as the ambassadors talk about the wine and history of this fine place. When the weather is fine (and it generally is in St. Helena) you can have your tasting outside at the picnic table under the blossoming tree. For the more private or active, there is the Cave Tour and Tasting, where a visitor can sample 5 current releases in their 15,000 square foot wine cave. If you want something really exclusive, there is the Spotlight Tour and Tasting, where you can sample 6 wines that the hosts select specifically for you while relaxing in a room in the barrel cave that they have lined with wicker chairs and chic Turkish rugs. You have to call ahead and show up on time for your appointment, but it is more than worth it to join in the experiment of Failla Wines.
