About This Winery
+ More
Red Car Wine is most famous for its Rosés and Pinot Noirs, but it also considers itself a steward of the land. The winery believes that wine that is grown using organic and biodynamic farming methods connects people to the place it is grown. This is why they picked vineyards where they can produce wine that consistently keep their character throughout the years, and they are scrupulous about keeping their organic certification. Red Car Wine believes that these winemaking techniques are exactly what is needed to please the customer’s palate.
Red Car Wine is also intent on making their customers comfortable. Their tasting room is filled with light, with a restored wood bar and with low-hanging lamps. They sell fine jewelry and decorations at the winery. They also play music that you can pick. They can tailor the seated tasting to meet the needs of connoisseurs, amateurs, and everyone in between. You can reserve 3 types of tastings: Signature Tastings for 1 to 6 people, and serving a flight of single-vineyard wines. There is the Reserve Pinot Noir Tasting for 2 to 6 people, and covering 5 single-vineyard wines. This will focus on educating your average drinker. There is also Group Tastings for 8 to 40 people, which takes place in a private tasting lounge. The gray ranch building on Graton Road is a fun place for the adventurous wine-seeker.
