James entered the military and flew over vineyards that he would later visit. Mark hired on as a stock boy for a local specialty liquor store and worked his way up as the regional buyer. The 2 men finally united when they discovered their shared interest in wine, and they now are dedicated to creating handcrafted artisan wines, specializing in single-vineyard and 100% varietal products.

If you want to experience what 2 brothers can produce, then come to their tasting room in Healdsburg. Mark will personally introduce you to their work while you relax in their store front. The winery is very small, and the table for guests is likewise intimate, with fine prints and racks of wine lining the red walls. You might even get a tour of the working winery behind the tasting room where will be chalk art on the barrels to admire, and a full showing of their crushing containers.
