Frederick Durant’s former home in Oakville has been put to a stunningly good use. It has been turned in to a place where art and wine flourish, bringing about truly enlightened living for guests.

To start with the wines, they buy from grape growers from all around Napa and Sonoma, focusing on unusual varietals. Then they experiment with various techniques to create unique, nuanced wines. They have three signature blends, the Blanc, the Cuvee, and the Reserve. All their wines are mixes of Old World and New that wine-lovers will appreciate. You can taste Pinot Noir, Grenache, and Malbec here. This is a nice change of pace after visiting Cabernet Sauvignon heavy wineries in Napa.

And where do you taste these blends? In the Durant and Booth salon. You can have the Dapper Tasting by appointment, with 5 wines, cheese, and charcuterie. You can also drop in for the Flight of Fancy of 3 wines.

The salon is where the art comes in. From the hanging crystal chandeliers high over their interactive bar to their patio, their salon is created with the total experience in mind.
