From Highway 46 you cannot miss this impressive red bricked monument sitting amongst a large vineyard tract. The arched entryways lead you to the hospitality center & tasting room featuring a Ramada framed exterior facade with an artisan stained walkway.
There is a staircase fountain and a courtyard overlooking reflecting pools that lead to a grand open-air amphitheater that is used for weddings, concerts, and dinners. Around the corner is their immense tasting room and gift shop with painted concrete floors, oriental rugs, 40 foot ceilings and twelve foot doorways.
Inside, the warm mustard colored interior compliments their sky painted ceiling, the windowed rectangular dome and the huge chandelier. The hall is filled with wonderful pottery, wine accessories, clothing, gourmet jams and sauces, cookbooks, and an extensive cheese and meat deli case. Outside looking west is an expansive picnic deck with glass topped tables and a BBQ. To make your stay even more fun, two traditional Bocce Ball courts can be reserved for your use.
Underground are 19,000 square feet of wine caves including rooms big enough to host 125 people for sit down dinners. The winery is overbuilt to accommodate their own production and that of seven other wineries that use their facility. The winery hosts special events throughout the year including food and wine seminars and an outdoor concert series.
They have three unique estate vineyards in the area and grow 17 different grape varieties, concentrating on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. They also produce additional Rhone style varietals, and blends, plus Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
