Van Der Heyden Vineyards is a family owned winery nestled in the beautiful, world famous Napa Valley wine growing region. They are located on the prestigious Silverado Trail just south of the Stags Leap District.
Casual wine lovers and tourists visiting the wine country will be delighted to find a personal, quaint wine tasting experience. The property is a bit ramshackle with semi-vintage trailers, trucks and tractors scattered about and a open air tent shading the patio. The tasting room is small and homey. The tasting experience here is the antithesis of some of the grand estates just up the road.
Wine enthusiasts will enjoy the estate bottled Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and late harvest dessert wines. If you want to try something different try the Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon. Construction is now underway for a new winery facility and should be completed in late 2009.
