About This Winery
+ More
Palmina produces a full range of wines crafted from Italian varietals grown in Santa Barbara County, California. Wines are produced and tasted in the famed Lompoc “wine ghetto” just a few miles from some of the most sought after vineyards in the county.
Owner and winemaker Steve Clifton has created a pleasant tasting room environment to share and sample his wines. Clifton is not trying to emulate the Italian versions of these grapes, but rather interpret the styles to the growing conditions and vineyard sites of the very unique characteristics of Santa Barbara County. The wines are Italian by tradition and modern by design, and all are designed to be an “extension of the plate”.
Tastings are $10 per person, which include all wines being poured and Italian snacks. Our wine club members taste “gratis” of course. Tavola Club members may bring one guest at no charge, and our Stagioni and Vendemmia Club members can treat guests as well (up to a total of six people).
