Beaux Chevaux is a small winery, currently producing fewer than 900 cases yearly. Their estate vineyard, Beckman Vineyards, is located in Calaveras County at an elevation of 2,400 feet, has sourced Zinfandel, Syrah and Cinsault to area winemakers for nearly two decades.
The label reflects a brush stroke of the hills surrounding the vineyard. Alice Walker’s poem "Horses Make a Landscape More Beautiful" inspired the addition of our three Beaux Chevaux (Beautiful Horses). The owners of Beaux Chevaux endeavor to capture the essence of what is both wild at heart yet capable of expressing itself in myriad fanciful ways if nurtured by caring hands.
