About This Winery
+ More
Amongst a hip industrial zone located in west Santa Cruz, you will find an inviting commercial center that is home to tasty eateries, as well as a diverse range of local wineries. Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard is one of the eight wineries that call this center home and is sure to have a wine that you will enjoy. Their selection of wines is quite diverse and is distributed under two labels.
The Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard label includes familiar favorites such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot; while the Quinta Cruz label focuses on grape varieties that originally came from Portugal and Spain that are now grown in California. Some of these not so familiar favorites include Verdelho, Tempranillo, and Tinto Cao.
When you arrive at the Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard tasting room, you are almost guaranteed to be welcomed by Jeff Emery and his wife Andrea to assist you in enjoying all that their winery has to offer. Each is well versed in the winery’s history and offerings, and happy to sit and chat with you as you enjoy the wines at their small wooden tasting bar.
Be sure to complete your tasting experience by trying the Rabeo Port, which is their single vineyard Port-style wine that is the perfect way to complete your tasting experience at Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard.
