Core Wine Company (Permanently Closed)

Dave and Becky Corey established Core Wine Company in 2001. The family runs their cozy wine studio and tasting room in Old Orcutt, on the Central Coast in California. With over 125 years of family history in the Santa Maria area, the Corey’s feel right at home in historic Old Town Orcutt, pouring their wines for locals and visitors alike. Established in 1901 after oil was discovered there, Orcutt has a lot of old town charm combined with many thriving modern businesses. Dave’s family spans back to seven generations all living within the area, bringing a deep sense of history to their winery today.

Best known for their blends featuring Mourvedre and Grenache, Core Wine Company offers an amazing variety of wines from all their unique labels including CORE, Kuyam, Turchi and C3. Tasting selections change daily and they frequently add themed tasting flights in addition to a huge selection of wines by the glass. Dave and Becky Corey live and work in Santa Maria, running their winery and tasting room operations themselves and with their three young sons Fletcher, Nolan and Kellen, Harry the dog, a bird named Marley and too many fish to name.
