Vogelzang Vineyard

Vogelzang Vineyard is planted in the newly acquired appellation of Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara. Founded in 1998, Vogelzang is a supplier of high quality grapes to many other wineries, including Foxen, Dragonette, Fiddlehead, Bridlewood, Gainey, Ojai, and others. They supply these grapes in addition to creating their own Vogelzang Brand wines. The Company’s operations are divided into two groups: grapes and grape sales, and wine production. This unique area has proven to an excellent terroir for Bordeaux varietals.

The viticulture practices, monitored by the team of Coast Vineyard Care and other mature consultants, guarantee that the most advanced technical practices such as high density, tight pruning, parallel shoot positioning and compost teas, plus good old fashioned common sense, guide the vine and the ground. Planted in 1998, time, experience and additional knowledge of the area proves that Vogelzang Vineyard is consistently producing the quality expected of its Sauvignon Blancs, Cabernets and Bordeaux blenders.
