Grey Sail Brewing
Located in Westerly, Grey Sail Brewing is a cozy brewery perfect for an afternoon beer flight. With a variety of styles ranging from pale ales to hefeweizens to sours, they offer something to please every palate. Prices for flights range from $10-15, with 5oz pours costing around $4-8 depending on the beer. They also serve up some delicious food that pairs perfectly with their beer! This is definitely one of the best breweries in Rhode Island.
You can visit the taproom from Wednesday - Sunday.
Long Live Beerworks
Long Live Beerworks, located on the East Side of Providence, is another one of the top breweries in Rhode Island. The taproom at Long Live Beerworks offers a great atmosphere for craft beer lovers. Their beer selection includes IPAs, stouts, saisons, lagers, are more. Prices range from $6-9 for a pint or glass. They also have flights available when you want to sample multiple beers.
In addition to their tasty brews, visitors can enjoy live music events and art exhibitions throughout the year.
Proclamation Brewery
Proclamation Ale Company is a must-visit Rhode Island brewery with a fun taproom in an odd location. The slightly grungy industrial vibe on the outside belies the sleek and modern taproom inside. There is ample seating, a large video screen that plays an interesting assortment of movies, old-school video games, and popup-style food options that are either in the parking lot or inside the taproom. There is also an outdoor area for drinking when the weather is nice.
You can order 5 oz. samplers or full pours of about 10 different beer offerings. They have a solid group of standard options and also rotate in some interesting beers if you want to expand your beer horizons. We think Proc should be on any beers lovers list of the best Rhode Island breweries.
Crooked Current Brewery
Crooked Current Brewery, the smallest brewery in the smallest state, is located just outside Providence in Pawtucket; they offer flights featuring five of their rotating beers starting at $7 per tasting glass or 8oz pour ($3-$5).
They have a great rotating selection of seasonal beers. They are very creative brewers and are excellent at naming their offerings. The idea of an extortion, eggnog milk stout makes my mouth water.
Hours are Thursday through Saturday 12pm – 9pm and Sunday 12 pm– 6pm.
Foolproof Brewing Company
Foolproof Brewing Company is another great spot in Pawtucket serving up flavorful brews since 2012. Beers range from IPAs to farmhouse ales to porters (prices start at around $5-$8 a pint). Come hungry too—they serve up classic pub fare: sandwiches, sliders burgers—all made fresh daily! Plus live music every Friday night means there’s always something fun happening here! Hours are 4pm - 11pm Wednesday through Sunday .
Whaler Brewing
Whalers Brewing in Wakefield, Rhode Island is the state's first nano-brewery.
