Nocking Points Wine Club | Overview
We based our Nocking Points Wine Club review on three factors.
The first factor to consider with any club is the wine quality. This seems obvious, but it's easy to be drawn into a club based on marketing alone. You can't taste their wine over the internet, so flashy websites alone can convince you to join the club. We enjoyed drinking the wines we received from Nocking Point. The Cabernet Sauvignon was a standout. We know that Washington State vineyards can deliver great Cabs. That was the case with Nocking Point.
The second factor is customer service. When you join a club, the process should be simple and the benefits clear.
The third aspect is uniqueness. There are a lot of great wine clubs available on the web. For our Nocking Point wine club review, we wanted to see what sets them apart. This is where they really shine.
We feel like Nocking Point delivers quite well on all of these fronts, especially when it comes to the unique twist on their quarterly subscription boxes.
Before we dive into more detail, a few words about the club itself! Nocking Point is a wine and coffee club that’s been in business for 5 years. The winery and club is based in Walla Walla, Washington. All of the wines offered are made within the US. One of the fun parts of Nocking Points wine club are their collaborations between a celebrity guest and their own winemakers.
The little spark of fun you get out of these celebrity collaborations is exactly what puts Nocking Point a step above other wine clubs when it comes to having a truly unique offer. It’s a lot more than just having the celebrity’s name forced on the labels. The celebrity actually gives input on the entire process from crafting the wine to designing the label. It's a truly unique feature of this wine club.
There are two different wine club options right now. They are:
The Quarterly Nocking Point Wine Club
Once you successfully become a member of the club, you’ll be able to get four quarterly shipments of wine, with some coffee and merch to go along with it. The offer includes three bottles of exclusive wine, with one of them being a part of the celebrity guest collaboration we talked about. The coffee is micro-roasted straight from the Walla Walla Roastery, and with every order, you’ll be receiving a nocking Point T-shirt as well.
The Monthly Nocking Point Wine Club
As a member of this club, you will receive two bottles per month of the high-quality wine from the Pacific Northwest.
Nocking Points Wine Club | Pricing
The quarterly box of wines costs $99 each quarter for three bottles of wine, a bag of coffee and special merchandise. The shipping is included in the cost.
The monthly wine club costs $49 per month for two bottles of wine. The shipping is included in the price.
Nocking Point Wine Club | Customer Service
You can comfortably expect a delivery from the company to arrive anywhere between 2-5 business days. They ship wine only within the US and Canada, but coffee along with clothing and other merchandise can be shipped anywhere in the world.
As a club member, you get a good discount on Nocking Point wine compared to what you would be paying normally for direct purchase. Along with that, Nocking point offers a discount of $20 on the first shipment, 10% off when you reorder wine, as well as free shipping on any additional purchases you make separately from your wine club deal, which of course, already includes the shipping.
You receive emails with information on your future shipments and any shipments on the way to you. Skipping shipments or putting them on hold is also an option. You just need to send a quick email to the club.
The special discounts they offer, paired with the convenience of the wine club and the fun celebrity angle make Nocking Point Wine Club a great option. You can see in the online reviews that their members really enjoy being part of this club.
Nocking Point | Wine Quality and Improvements
You’re definitely getting a solid selection of Pacific Northwest wines with Nocking Point. The extra bits of merchandise, celebrity collaborations, and coffee you’re getting aren’t there to distract you from the wine itself, they only enhance the experience for the customer. Nocking Point manages to keep their prices relatively low and affordable while delivering consistent, good quality wine, which is a good deal in our book.
We’d like to note that Nocking Point lacks a bit of flexibility when it comes to their offers. Many clubs include personalization of your wine choices at least to some extent, and they also don’t offer any options for gifts, such as personalizes messages, pre-paid subscription options or gift wraps. A lot of clubs out there take the extra effort in educating their members on how the wine has been made and ultimately, what’s actually inside the bottle. We feel like Nocking Point hasn’t been as consistent with informing their customers this way every time.

Conclusion
If you don’t mind the lack of flexibility that doesn’t really have to be that major of a flaw, Nocking Point is a good choice. You definitely won’t find a club with the same fun-factor along with the variety of additional merchandise, while also keeping the wine quality consistent. Feel free to give this club a try, and let us know how you liked it!
