Cellardoor Winery

The first winery on the list is the much-celebrated Cellardoor Winery located in Maine. Relax in the 200-year-old barn as you look out over the vineyard in Lincolnville, or head into Portland for a more urban experience at The Point wine bar downtown.

Sandbanks Winery

This next vineyard isn’t exactly in New England, though it’s more than worth a visit if you’re in the area. Located in nearby Ontario, Canada, the Sandbanks Winery has gorgeous outdoor seating to relax in as you sip award-winning classics and exciting new flavors like Apple Wine.

Running Brook Vineyards & Winery 

A relatively new venture, Running Brook Vineyards & Winery has already found a place of esteem among New Englanders and visitors alike. Located off the I-95 between Providence, Rhode Island, and Cape Cod, this venue was founded by visionaries Pedro Teixeira and Manuel Morais.

Morais eventually developed a new way to prune grapes in cooler regions, a practice which is now known as “tall grafts”. The result is a sultry suite of flavors which the vintners expertly craft into the wines they sell. Each one is more delicious than the last, so it’s definitely worth a visit. Greenvale Vineyards

Located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Greenvale Vineyards is located on a historic farm first established in 1863. Perched on the waterfront beside the gently-flowing Sakonnet River, the Vineyard seems like something out of a fairytale.
