About This Winery
+ More
Malibu Family Wines has a pastoral outdoor setting in the Malibu mountains. Featuring beautiful oak trees, a huge lawn, picnic area, general store, the winery tasting area feels like the ideal place to spend an afternoon sipping wines. The scene fits Malibu Family Wines Southern California location perfectly. The vibe is laid back and the weather is usually perfect.
Tastings are served at the outdoor bar and customers may bring food and purchase a bottle of wine to enjoy at one of the many umbrella tables. Enjoy seasonal live music on many weekend evenings.
On the weekends, make sure you arrive early. Malibu Family Wines’ close proximity to Los Angeles guarantees crowds of wine lovers. If you can sneak off into the mountains of Malibu on a weekday, you will find the lines at the bar much shorter!
The winery has tasting rooms in a few other locations. You can find them at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, in Westlake Village in the Four Seasons resort and in the Angeles National forest at 9401 Foothills Blvd in Sunland.
The winery’s flagship wine is the Semler Malibu Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
