In 2003, owner/winemaker Bob Tillman first walked the 130 acre property that would become Alta Colina Vineyard. After 35 years as an engineer by day, home winemaker by night, Alta Colina is his vision from ground to glass.
Since our founding, Alta Colina has become known as both one of Paso Robles’ most beautiful Vineyards and one of the Central Coast’s most acclaimed Rhône producers. Bob, along with his daughter Maggie and the rest of our team, are committed to translating our incredible property into every bottle we make.

Tour Info: Taste in the barrel room on a Behind-the-Scenes Tasting. Up to 8 can sit down around our gorgeous walnut table and enjoy a private, focused tasting with a dedicated staff person.
Interested in touring the 130-acre mountaintop Alta Colina estate property? Reserve a Top-to-Bottom Vineyard tour and enjoy a two hour tour for up to 4 with one of the owners (and a father/daughter team), Bob or Maggie Tillman. Alta Colina Vineyard boasts some of Paso Robles' best views and the Top-to-Bottom Vineyard Tour is perfect for those interested in diving deeper.
Private tastings and tours are available by reservation. The Behind-the-Scenes Tasting is $20/person for up to 8 people and lasts approximately one hour. The Top-to-Bottom Vineyard Tour is $40/person for up to 4 people and lasts approximately 2 hours.
