Surrounded by vineyards, the renovated 100 year-old farmhouse tasting room is located at the gateway to Sonoma in the Carneros appellation. The intimate tasting room provides ample opportunity for tasting while the spacious patio allows for guests to enjoy a seated tasting at one of the many bistro tables overlooking the vineyard. There is also a tasting salon for private tastings and guided experiences.
The wines are made in a European style using small-batch, open-top fermentation, hand punch-downs 4 to 5 times each day, and traditional basket bladder presses. The wines are not over extracted or over oaked, and are considered fruit driven, which makes for great food pairings or enjoyed on their own.
The tasting lineup consists of six wines (which change daily), with a focus on highly-rated Pinot Noir and Rhône varietals. The winery sources its grapes from acclaimed growers in Sonoma Valley, Sonoma Coast, Carneros, Dry Creek and Santa Lucia Highlands. The winery’s small production (7,500 cases) gives it an intimate feel. They wines, tours and experiences keep locals and visitors alike returning to this cozy little spot.
