About This Winery
+ More
Down a narrow little rock-lined road, back behind the Vineyard Inn, is the oasis of Bent Creek Winery. Located right down among the vineyards, this quaint boutique operation makes estate Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Syrah, along with their Mendocino Sauvignon Blanc and Livermore Valley Chardonnay. The owner, a retired Lawrence Livermore Lab scientist, also makes two Zinfandel Ports and dabbles with a Livermore Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Named after the creek that meanders through the property, and surrounded by the vineyards, the winery gives the feeling of being miles away from the clamor of daily life. Inside the little tasting room is a dark wood tasting counter, along with pinewood-paneled walls, all creating a warm friendly ambiance. A few gourmet items are for sale.
Out the back door is a quaint little patio overlooking the vines, with tables and chairs for your comfort. Off in the distance, among the vineyards, is a gazebo for those who want to take a stroll or maybe have a picnic.
