About This Winery
+ More
A cluster of redwood buildings, flagstone terraces and an eclectic Garden of the Senses create an elegant and charming wine-tasting destination at the new C. Donatiello Winery (the former Belvedere Winery). Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are made here with style, as well as with a sense of responsibility about being good stewards of the land.
The tasting experience here combines the beauty of the gardens and patios, the high quality of the wine and the hospitality of its tasting room team. The bright, airy room has tall windows, wood floors, a fireplace, wine accessories and a deli case stocked with gourmet picnic items. Check out their concert series in the summer.
The one-acre garden on the property is worth a visit all on its own. It is planted with hundreds of rare and unusual culinary and medicinal herbs, plants, and fruits that suggest the tastes and aromas found in wine. From Chocolate Cosmos to Honey Bush and Vanilla Grass, the garden is a lush and inviting combination of native California and Mediterranean influences. Take the sensory tour and make connections between the aromas and tastes found in the garden and those found in the wine.
