About This Winery
+ More
There are some tasting rooms and wineries that have their own unique style that no other place comes close to matching, and Chateau Sinnet is one of these places. Set back in a Carmel Valley Shopping center, the brick-fronted “Chateau” stands out as something a bit different.
In the front room is a dark wooden tasting bar, brightly emblazoned art work, a cuckoo clock, and an attentive staff pouring numerous offerings, including sweet dessert wines, fruit wines, traditional California varietals, Italian offerings and sparkling wines. The mood is relaxed and the wines are a blast. Behind the tasting counter is a well-stocked gourmet food area with dozens of hot sauces, olive oils, garlic, peppers, and chocolates.
Head further back and the art room emerges….and it is not for the faint of heart. Bright blue murals, eclectic original art, grand master reproductions and wild collections of statues, wine barrels, knickknacks and other objects fill the large room. There is an additional tasting counter and tables and chairs set about the wine-colored floor. (This space would be a hot spot for a great party if ever there was one.)
