Wine and food go together like peanut butter and jelly, so what more could you ask for than a wine tasting room located within a restaurant? Christian Lazo brings this dream to reality with their tasting room, which is located inside of the 10th Street Vineyard Café in downtown San Miguel. The restaurant, much like the winery, is a family affair where you can enjoy lunch or dinner as a part of your wine tasting experience.
The wine tasting bar is located in a cozy room within the restaurant where there is ample space to take a seat and enjoy your wine, or you can cozy on up to the wood tasting bar and learn more about the wines from one of the winery’s owners. Owners Guadalupe and Christian Lazo purchased the vineyard where there estate fruit is farmed in 2002 and produced their first vintage in 2003. All of the grapes for Christian Lazo wines comes from either there estate vineyard that is located on the west side of Paso Robles, or from vineyards on the west side of Paso Robles.
Guadalupe and Christian feel that they are best known for their Barbera and Zinfandel, and encourage you to come in and enjoy these wines. If prefer a different varietal, Christian Lazo also produces Sauvignon Blanc, perfect for those warm summer days, as well as a Petit Sirah, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
