+ More
Cottonwood Canyon Winery features “distinctively different age-worthy wines”. Founded in 1988 by the Beko family, Cottonwood Canyon Vineyard & Winery is a small ultra-premium winery specializing in Chardonnay, Syrah, and Pinot Noir.
The now 78-acre estate is located in the Santa Maria Valley, just ten minutes east of the town of Santa Maria. They are situated at the northern-most edge of the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail in Santa Barbara County’s Wine Country. The winery sits on an expansive sandy-gravelly mesa with steep canyons created through eons of erosion. Their tasting room, however, is located in Santa Barbara, offering the vineyards’ delicious wines to passing visitors.
There are 18 acres of Pinot Noir, five-acres of Chardonnay, and three-acres of Syrah currently planted on the estate. The vineyard continues to be managed row-by-row and vine-by-vine, making the management of the vineyard very labor-intensive but well rewarding. Cottonwood Canyon Winery’s fine attention to detail is exemplified in their delicious wines.
