About This Winery
+ More
D’Anbino Vineyards and Cellars is an entirely family-owned and operated producer of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blends, and Sauvignon Blanc. D’Anbino co-founder and winemaker Carmine Rubino refers to his family as “a fun-loving group with a heritage of wine, music and togetherness.” “Our mission,” states Rubino, “is to produce small lots of site-specific, hand-crafted, premium-quality wines. We strive to blend wine with music, food and family…and to have fun doing it!”
The winery’s vineyards are in the Estrella Range where high daytime temperatures are tempered by light breezes in the afternoon and evening. This climate allows the Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes to fully ripen over a long growing season, developing rich, full flavors and ripe tannins.
The large D’Anbino tasting room has recently opened is located near the fully restored train station, a few blocks from the Paso Robles downtown square. The room’s modern décor features memorabilia depicting the family’s history of producing award winning music, as well as award winning wine.
The tasting bar even sports the musical theme being constructed from discarded piano interiors. There is a couch and comfortable chairs, a stage for live performances by the very talented family band and a large tasting bar with stage lighting and lots of room to roam around.
