Why visit Davis Estates?

There is a dark timber winery that sits by the green hills of Calistoga off of the Silverado Trail. The unassuming barns blend into the vineyards; the most outstanding decoration is the 50-foot red-tipped windmill with a tail sporting the name of the winery: Davis Estates.

The interior continues the country hunting lodge feel, with muted natural rugs, exposed wooden beams, and deep shelves. There are expansive porches and terraces sporting wicker swings. The outside is just as beautiful, with oak-tree dotted hills and lush grape vines. The hills cover 11,000 square foot wine caves where the Davis Estate wine is made with the latest technology.

Deep in the caves is a VIP Crush Room, complete with a polished mahogany table and luxurious deep chairs. If you reserve a VIP Experience or the Library Tasting, you can enjoy a special tasting in there. If caves aren’t your thing, you can sit on the terraces and taste the terroirs of Napa County, and they even provide a food pairing on offer from their Executive Chef’s cooking. There is even a chance to check out the history of the winery with a tasting experience.
