In 2008 the winery started in Alameda at Rock Wall which allowed us to expand their commitment to creating signature wines made for those who have a “love of the drink!” The experience of being an Urban Winery was great over the years but now has moved to the wine region of Livermore Valley. Not any wine country but the very first wine region of California.

They are now happy to have their very own Tasting Room at Tesla Vintners between Conncannon and Wente Vineyards. Not bad from coming out of the garage. They are sharing space with the Singing Winemaker and more to come.

European family roots inspired a dedication to create fine wines. Rich, full-bodied, deep in character with a nice oak finish that is intense and special, this tradition lives on today with the award-winning wines of Ehrenberg Cellars.

So come and enjoy what friends and family have been enjoying for years. An array of red wines that have won an astonshing 31 awards! Take a sip of Ehrenberg Cellars. Relax, drop your shoulders just a bit, and you will find yourself saying “aahh, life is good!”

Rating Entries

New very small winery sharing the parking lot with Tesla Vintners: Paulson Winery and The Singing Winemaker. It has a small but cozy tasting room. We were there on Super-Bowl Sunday and many Livermore wineries were closed, so it was crowded. However, even when crowded it was a fun place to taste. It was more like a club room than a tasting room and everyone as having a very good time. The Telsa Vintners group always seems to have very happy customers.

Some of the bottle labels are designed by the owner's 10 year old daughter, and the original drawings are framed on the walls. The red blend "Swirl" has one such label. It is fruity and warm and very drinkable. He also has a very nice 2010 Cab with a distinct red berry flavor and a nice finish.

Tesla Vintners each charge $5 for tasting, or you can get all three tasting rooms for $12. The fee is not refundable, but all three wineries are fun and there is a good chance you will get to hear the Singing Winemaker play his guitar and sing when you g
