About This Winery
+ More
A big red barn greets visitors to this historic winery on the ridgeline above Dry Creek Valley. Everett Ridge offers a memorable visit, showcasing panoramic views, a wide range of California varietals, and their unique, stunning sculpture gardens.
Everett A. Wise purchased this land in 1875 and brought stones by wagon from the Mill Creek area to build his winery. After a long history, it became Everett Ridge Winery in 1996. The stylish interior has a cherry wood finish on the walls along with a fireplace, marble-topped tasting bar and a deli case stocked with cheeses and meats.
Their flagship Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc share the list with Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. Winemaker Dick Schultz says, “The goal is to always make a wine that is the purest expression of the fruit. To me, this means conscientious grape-growing practices followed by minimal intervention and quality caretaking at the winery.”
Spirits In Stone, an importer of unique African art, sculpture and jewelry, has established an outdoor sculpture garden on the winery grounds. Inside the tasting room is a gallery featuring masks, paintings and smaller sculptural works.
