Fazeli Cellars Winery brings architecture inspired by ‘101 Arabian Nights’ to Southern California’s Temecula Valley. The winery building now sits off of famous De Portola Wine Trail. Have you ever wondered what moving Agrabah to California would result in? Visit Fazeli Winery to find out!
Bizhan Fazeli designed the soaring stone towers and archways in homage to his Persian heritage. Baba Joon, the restaurant, carries such Mediterranean delicacies as hummus and Dolma, and of course, the wines are from the 45 acres that Fazeli owns. However, once you are inside the rooms, you are in the lap of modern luxury as only Napa County can provide it. The furnishings are contemporary and comfortable. The bright blue walls and the giant glass windows give a pleasant glow on your surroundings. The doors to this spacious castle are open to anyone wanting to drop by; they only ask that you make reservations if you have more than 8 people in your group. Add to this that the Shiraz, Petite Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon are world-class, and you will find yourself in a wine-tasters dream.
For anyone planning on touring and hoping to see the wonders of the countryside, Fazeli Cellars provides a ‘Behind the Vine’ tour. You will get to see the lab, oak barrels, and winemaking equipment. And then there will be the endlessly rolling vineyards that overlook the sea and verdant grounds. It isn’t too much of a surprise that Fazeli Cellars also hosts weddings with such a beautiful background.
Fazeli Cellars Winery is part of the Priority Wine Pass network. This means you receive a 2 for 1 tasting if you are a member. Just show them the card before you start your tasting.
