First Crush Cellars

Now open in Paso Robles First Crush’s Cellar Mates tasting room. The cave themed tasting room is a unique spot where you can taste wines from First Crush and will soon be able to taste wine for many local small producers.

Cellar Mates is a new winery concept established by Becky and Lowell Zelinski. The Zelinskis started First Crush Wine Experience in 2008 by offering consumers unique and extraordinary “berry-to-bottle” wine experiences. They also began producing First Crush wines in 2008 and released their first vintage in 2010.

Try their Puppy Love (100% Cabernet Sauvignon), Fatal Attraction (50% Malbec 50% Syrah) and Friends With Benefits, Promiscuous, and Smooth Operator. All good and all from the Central Coast.

As a small winery, the Zelinskis found it difficult to find an affordable place to make their wine, and more importantly store, manage and bottle them. They assumed that other small wineries might face the same challenges so decided to open Cellar Mates to offer a solution to that problem.

You’ll also meet growers and winemakers while getting in on the action at a Harvest Crush Encounter, an exclusive, one-of-a-kind wine experience.
