Where Tradition and Mother Nature Meet
Since 1978, The Lucas Winery has focused on crafting vineyard designated Zinfandel from their historic ZinStar Vineyard. Winemakers David Lucas and Heather Pyle-Lucas create balanced, food-friendly, elegant wines that reflect the full potential of California’s Lodi Appellation. The family of wines pleases both the palate and the planet as the vineyard is CCOF Organic Certified and the winery is 100% solar powered.
The Lucas family and staff use centuries old vineyard and wine making techniques to arguably produce the best Zinfandel in the Lodi region from their 79 year old vineyard.
Most of the staff are involved in annual harvest activities and a couple even make their own wine. Personalized tours are conducted by their knowledgeable staff and are tailored to the individual.
