About This Winery
Located in the heart of Sonoma County's Russian River Valley, we handcraft ultra-premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.
Lynmar Estate is a Russian River standout for its production of premium estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The beautiful and spacious hospitality center at its Quail Hill Vineyard was designed to blend into the existing landscape and provides a full sensory experience.
Guests are presented with a whole host of options when it comes to tasting.
The Estate Flight is $40 per person and comes with a selection of Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast wines. Add items from the Seasonal Provisions Menu to enhance your experience. The Collector’s Flight is $90 per person and includes an in-depth, privately hosted tasting of six wines. Purely wine-focused, this flight explores the subtleties of their Proprietary, Pinnacle and Vineyard Designate collections, including the influence of clonal diversity within their Estate vineyards. A complimentary tour can be added to your Collector’s Flight by advance request.
The Lynmar Wine and Food pairing experience is a four-course farm to table lunch made from estate-grown and locally sourced ingredients thoughtfully paired with select Lynmar wines. It encapsulates the best of the Russian River Valley by bringing together the bounty of the land, the creativity of their chef, the craftsmanship of the winemaking at a communal table, creating a memorable experience for all.
Reservations are required for all experiences.
Their Quail Hill Vineyard was originally planted in 1971 and has some of the oldest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines in the Russian River Valley. While the older blocks are valued for their balanced fruit, a phased replanting of Quail Hill Vineyard in 1996 was begun to better match each sub block with its optimal clonal selection and rootstocks. This replanting program includes 71% of the vineyard and was completed in 2005.
Sustainable and organic agriculture govern the vineyard activity. It borders the Laguna de Santa Rosa, a 250 square-mile watershed that is home to mammals, reptiles, native plants and migrating birds. The vineyard and winery team uses the most habitat-friendly farming techniques and is sensitive to the needs of this ecosystem.↑ Less
