This is the home the Medlock Ames winery and vineyard. They are an estate wine producer founded by Chris James and Ames Morison in 1998.

Medlock Ames is dedicated to sustainable farming and crafting small runs of artisan wines. They designed their winery with gravity-flow techniques and solar power.  They age their barrels in a cellar designed to be the perfect environment for their maturing wines. Their commitment to sustainability is evident throughout the winery.  You will be blown away by the careful thought they gave to ensuring an environmentally friendly operation.

Touring this charming spot in the Alexander Valley is one option. Or, you can also taste at their tasting room on Alexander Valley Road. Chris and Ames took the century-old Alexander Valley Store & Bar and turned it into a rustic pleasure center. The award winning landscaping and the pine wood interior, with its sunny wide-open space, compliment the wines perfectly.
