Meridian Vineyards is impressive at first sight. As you head up the long driveway you pass their extensive vineyards. Then you find yourself on the top of a small knoll. This is surrounded by majestic, 200 years old oak trees. It is landscaped with herb and flower gardens. There are also idyllic country picnic grounds for visitors to enjoy.
Follow the path that leads up to a the winery and tasting room. Notice the name plates along the way that identify many of the well tended plants.
Out in front of the natural stone winery building is a lovely patio. There are comfortable tables with umbrellas and a giant Chinese Pistachio tree. Guests can enjoy a leisurely afternoon enjoying wine on the patio.
There is a large event lawn adjacent to the vineyards for weddings and large gatherings.
Inside is the long, narrow, tasting room. It is punctuated by a large window that look down on the impressive barrel room. The stained concrete floors mix with an array of gourmet items for sale. These include the usual wine accessories as well as cowboy hats and BBQ sauces.

Meridian Vineyards is part of the Fosters Wine Group. The winery produces a range of value priced wines. They include Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. These wines are widely distributed.
Limited small lot production wines are available in the tasting room and to club members only. These include Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. Some of these releases are under 300 cases and sell out quickly.
