Robert Mondavi Winery

For 50 years, Robert Mondavi Winery has been producing wines in Napa Valley with a passion. Zesty Fume Blancs, fruity Pinot Noirs, complex Bordeaux wines and sweet blends have poured forth from this winery, consistently scoring over 90 points and winning awards. On this anniversary year, you can see and taste for yourself what has made this winery a success.

It starts with the grounds. The winery in Oakville is in a valley, and you will know you have arrived when you see the arch, a unique adobe construction that vaults over the entrance and sports a weather vane tower.  A fountain spouts continually in front. Once you are inside and signed up for the wine experiences, you’ll find the perfect background in a tasting room decorated in dark wood, white stucco, and oriental rugs.

And they have an amazing array of experiences.  They host an Exclusive Cellar Tasting at the magnificent To Kalon Cellar. There is a Wine and Chocolate Tasting, and a Pairing with Cheese Tasting. This is on top of a basic walk-in tasting and an educational Wine Tasting Basics experience. If you want to tour the lush grounds and walk along the neatly tended gravel paths in the vineyards, there are the Signature Tour and Tastings, the Twilight Walking Tour, and the Discovery Tour and Tasting. Truly, Robert Mondavi wants you to enjoy the passion that he has derived from his 50 years of making wine.

Robert Mondavi Winery is one of the most iconic wineries in Napa. Some people credit Mondavi with having the vision for what Napa has become today. The winery was sold to Constellation brands in the early 2000’s but the passion and quality remains under the new owners.
