About This Winery
+ More
The Buttitta family has been growing premium wine grapes in California since 1953. In 2001 they started their own label focused on the production of old-world Italian wines including Barbera, Primitivo, Dolcetto and Aglianico.
The Rosa d’Oro Vineyards tasting room is located just a mile from the winery on Main Street in historic downtown Kelseyville. Built in 1910, the First Bank Building on the corner of Second and Main Streets houses the handsome, smartly appointed tasting room. Unique features of this historic building include a handcrafted walnut bar, Lake County black walnut flooring and the original bank vault, which now holds the tasting room gift shop.
In the Italian tradition, they make their our own varietal wine vinegars and extra virgin olive oil from their estate grown trees. They also produce a very nice Syrah and Chardonnay.
