Sbragia Family Vineyards

We went to Sbragia the first time during barrel tasting '07 and became members that day! The wine is wonderful and the Sbragia family treats everyone as if they have been in the family for yrs! Since then we have enjoyed many bottles and events there and will continue to do so. All this and a wonderful view, you can't go wrong! Cheers!!!

We had heard many great comments about Sbragia and had high hopes for our visit, but the experience was marred by a very disinterested staff and wines we felt were lackluster at best.
After all the commentary we'd seen about how engaged and helpful the staff are, we thought we would be in for a great exchange and learning opportunity, but instead we had to continually interject into the servers' conversation between themselves to get service and we received very short answers to our questions that were obviously intended to "shut us up".
It was most disappointing.
Individual palates play a large part in wine taste decisions, but we were expecting much more from these wines- we found them to be "thin" and lacking in flavor. We chose only the lower tier taste option, so that could have bearing on our impression.
Many people like Sbragia, and maybe we just were there on someone's bad day, but I won't be back to find out.
