About This Winery
+ More
Planted in 1998, the vision for St. Hilaire Vineyard was to develop low-yielding and high-quality fruit. As a veteran home winemaker, John Anderson honed his winemaking skills and steadily began receiving accolades from family and friends.
Earning recognition at local and state competitions further proved that John had a knack for making quality wine. Improving on his wines meant going straight to the source – quality grapes. John and his wife Laural planted 5 acres in the Templeton Gap of the Paso Robles wine growing area.
The wines created at St. Hilaire Vineyard are handcrafted in small lots. They are barrel-aged to bring out the complexity and character of each variety and to soften the tannins.
