Temecula wine tasting tours conjure up different images depending on who you are. Some people envision being driven around in a limo between lovely tasting rooms. They dream of talking about terroir and the latest beloved varietals.
Others think wine tasting should be a bit more fun. Some even stray from fun into wild. We are fine with that, but you need to be safe and make sure wild doesn't end up costing you. This is where limo and party buses come into play.
We thought it would be a good idea to talk to the top party bus provider in Temecula about how to be smart when wine tasting on the wild side.
Hold On! Before you call Uber or hire a limo company, sign up for the PRIORITY WINE PASS and save on wine tasting at the wineries. The extra money you save will help pay for your transportation!
When I’m going wine tasting, why shouldn’t I just drive myself and my friends to the tasting rooms? Isn’t that a cheaper way to go?
Drinking and driving has never been a good idea, so if you are planning a Temecula wine tasting trip with your friends, it is always important to have a designated driver. Although it might be a little cheaper to drive yourself, you risk getting a DUI, getting into an accident and you risk not only your life but your friends' lives too. To fully enjoy the Wine Country experience, it is best to leave it to the professionals.
Over the years we specialized in wine tours and are familiar with all the ins and outs of the industry. Hiring a limo company for the day has a great number of advantages that cannot even compete with the idea of driving your friends to and from a couple of wineries. Here are just a few of these advantages:
- you can bring more friends along (up to 20 in our Party Bus);
- more friends means less money spent on transportation;
- you do not have to worry about traffic and parking spots;
- your chauffeur can recommend wineries that best fit your preferences;
- you will get discounts, coupons and VIP access at tasting rooms.
While Temecula Wine Country is known for its over 30 member wineries, there is much more to it than wine. The staff at Aall In Limo & Party Bus is happy to help you plan other activities, such as an early morning hot air balloon ride over the valley, a trip to Old Town for great eateries and more.
I’m hearing that Uber is a good option now. Is there any downside to using them for wine tasting tours?
Uber is not a great option to consider when it comes to Temecula wine tasting tours. For example, Uber fares may vary due to traffic, weather, and other factors. The fare estimate does not include discounts or promotions. Although flat rates apply to direct trips between specified locations, additional stops may result in a higher fare. If you are in San Diego and are looking for an Uber to take you to Temecula, the prices start at $54 all the way up to $280.
Also, unlike a limo, you are not allowed to drink inside an Uber, and for large groups, you need a Party Bus or a limo bus. Uber does not have party busses or limo busses so you will just have to settle for an SUV, a pricey option for a day of wine tasting. At Aall In Limo & Party Bus, we require a minimum of 5 hours booking for limo transportation services, and our prices start at $375 to $850 per 5 hours, depending on the day of the tour and vehicle you have booked. Extra stops do not change the price, you can bring 20 friends along in the Party Bus and we can get you discounts, 2 for 1 tastings, VIP access and other extras that you would not get from an Uber.
Why do wineries like having limo tours come to their tasting rooms?
We bring them large groups of clients for a short period of time, everybody has fun, learns a thing or two about the vineyards, the history of the area and valuable information about wines and wine-making. It is a great way for winemakers to make themselves and their award-winning wines known among both wine connoisseurs and those who are just starting to get to know wine better.
How and when was Aall In Limo started?
The idea of Aall In Limo & Party Bus came up when I attended a poker event back in 2005 and won big that night. During that time I was quite unhappy on a professional level and I wanted to get as far away as possible from the mortgage industry. A limo happened to drive by that night and everybody was having fun in the limo, even the driver was smiling! This was my wake-up call. From that moment on, I knew I wanted a limo company. I bought my first limo with the money I won that night and I have been in business ever since.
What makes it unique?
The company is based on the commitment to provide the best limo services in San Diego. Since 2005, we have all worked hard to build a reputation based on excellent customer service, professionalism, and integrity.
We always make sure each and every customer has an amazing, unforgettable experience. With safety in mind, all our vehicles are well maintained, equipped with all the necessary amenities and regularly inspected to comply with all safety regulations.
How do the Aall in limo drivers add to the customer experience?
Professionalism, knowledge and a friendly but courteous attitude are key traits of our chauffeurs. They are all familiar with Temecula Valley and know all the wineries in the valley. They know the most popular spots in and around San Diego and Temecula. They are easy-going and can anticipate the clients' needs. They all have significant experience in dealing with all kinds of situations that may arise on the roads.
I’m sure you can’t play favorites, but are there a few Temecula wineries that should be on every wine lovers tour list?
Falkner Winery should definitely be on the list of Temecula wine tasting stops. It is a bit on the smaller side, but the tasting room has a special vibe. It's fun and excitement all the time! On top of the fantastic views, there is great food at their award-winning, lunch-only, Pinnacle Restaurant.
Bel Vino Winery is a cute boutique-style winery. You can enjoy good food and live music here. The winery is surrounded by sweeping and lush vineyards. In addition to the rustic charm of their tasting room, the property operates a Friday thru Sunday Bistro, which features gourmet comfort food.
We are partnered with both wineries, so our clients should expect VIP treatment and specials at these wineries.
Is there a specific event in Temecula that you feel is truly special for visitors to know about?
I highly recommend the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival. It is a great event for the whole family. It offers top-name entertainment, wine tasting in the Wine Garden, Kids Faire, Arts & Crafts, and Commercial exhibits and a food court.
Wine tasting during the event features different premium wines from Temecula Valley wineries as well as others from Southern California. You can even book a hot air balloon flight for a memorable experience here.
Another thing that you cannot miss when visiting Wine Country is the De Portola Wine Trail. The De Portola Wine Trail is nestled among the picturesque foothills of Temecula, just off the beaten path and is home to a family of 9 local boutique wineries.
What’s the best time of year to visit Temecula?
Spring, summer, and fall are all great to visit, mostly because of the weather and the amount of natural light, For example, we leave San Diego during afternoons at 11 am, we get there by 12pm and it takes about 6 to 7 hours to complete a wine tour of several wineries. One of the best parts of ending a Temecula wine tasting tour later is that the clients get to enjoy the sunset and have dinner at the wineries.
Ok, now tell us about the wildest party bus ride to ever hit Temecula's wineries.
