Wilson Creek Manor

There are many things that stand out at Wilson Creek Manor, but guests can not stop raving about Abby, the owner, and her staff. The Manor is set up like a vacation rental where you can rent the entire manor (great for family reunions and wedding parties) and for any leftover rooms, the rooms are rented out individually and treated as a bed and breakfast.
All rooms are considered suites with appropriate names like The Grand Almond Champagne Suite and The Syrah Suite. Wine glasses are kept full at all times so getting your money’s worth is not a problem at Wilson Creek.
The family-owned and operated winery is across from the manor making it an easy skip and jump to tasting their award-winning flavored sparkling wines (coconut bubbly is way better than coconut water!). This winery has a true party atmosphere and large crowds. It's the perfect spot for your bachelorette party or to celebrate a birthday. It's probably not our top choice for serious wine drinkers, but hey, it's a lot of fun!

The Hotel Temecula

You might need to pinch yourself to make sure you haven’t been transported to Westworld, but The Hotel Temecula is still giving off the Wild West vibes with its historic rooms and museum-quality artifacts that highlight its history.
Hotel Temecula was the very first hotel in Temecula, the original dating back to 1883. The hotel was rebuilt in 1891 after a fire destroyed it. Even the wisteria plant that covers the entire spacious back patio was planted in 1891. You’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time as you relax at the Guest Parlor with a steaming cup of joe, and step onto the front porch and enjoy views of Main Street. The iconic Emigrant Office is a great backdrop for a photo. The local eateries summon the Old West as well with The Gambling Cowboy, Old Town Sweet Shop, and Swing Inn Cafe. The rooms are decorated in vintage-inspired interiors and antique furnishings (beds are brand new!).
Note that you will be staying in a hotel built in 1891 so there is a shared Gentleman’s bathroom and a shared ladies' bathroom. For reservations book online or call (951) 972-8500.
Inn at Churon Winery
Note: We are not currently recommending the Inn at Churon Winery. The property needs updating and we were unhappy with our latest stay there. We will update this note as things change.
This chateau that sits on the highest hills in the valley is a little bit of France in Temecula wine country. The rooms are luxury spaces in themselves featuring fireplaces, oversized marble bathrooms with separate showers, and French doors leading to outside private terraces overlooking the estate vineyards. Each guest is treated to a complimentary breakfast each morning and an exclusive guest-only wine hour which often includes a complimentary tasting of 8 wines. The Inn is treated like a bed and breakfast so personalized service in an intimate setting is rated high at this family-run inn and winery.
